Funeral services for George H. Nelson, 59, of Little Rock, Lyon county, Iowa, were held November 3, 1992 at First Presbyterian Church, Little Rock, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery.

He died Friday, October 30, 1992 of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident near Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa.

Mr. Nelson was born March 20, 1933, in Foley, Minnesota. He spent his youth near Foley and Raymond, Minnesota and attended the Owatonna Public School.

On July 22, 1961, he married Jeannette Visker in Little Rock, Iowa. They lived in Little Rock where he worked for Randy Hayenga doing farm and café work.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger of Boyden, Iowa and Donald of Little Rock; five grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar Olson of Litchfield, Minnesota, and Lawrence Halverson of Marshall, Minnesota, and three sisters, Doris Burnside of St. Paul, Minnesota, Ann Weseloh of Richfield and Mrs. Ida (Jerry) Jacobsen of Isanti, Minnesota.
