KNOBLOCH, MOGLER, KELLENBERGER

Funeral services for Albert Dietrich Knobloch, 74, of Hills, Minnesota, were held October 19, 1992 at Apostolic Christian Church, Lester, Lyon county, Iowa, with interment in the church cemetery.

He died Friday, October 16, 1992 at McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Mr. Knobloch was born January 7, 1918, in Alvord, Lyon county, Iowa. He grew up and attended school in Alvord. He worked for area farmers. He served during World War II. After the war, he returned to farm with his brother, Ernest.

On June 9, 1957, he married Martha Mogler in Lester. She died December 22, 1960.

On March 6, 1962, he married Salome Kellenberger in Lester. They moved to Hills where they farmed. In 1982 they moved into the town of Hills and in 1983 they retired from farming.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Merle of Hills; two grandchildren; six brothers, Ernest of Larchwood, Iowa, Dietrich of DeSmet, South Dakota, Benjamin of Eureka, Illinois, Wilber and Earl, both of Lester and Adolph of Algona, Iowa, and sis sisters, Julio Plattner of Sabetha, Kansas, Lydia Moser of Lester and Emma Knobloch, Paulina Knobloch, Mrs. Marvin (Wilma ) Hoogeveen and Violet Knobloch, all of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
