Funeral services for Lucy A. Kruger Thedens, 94, of Adrian, Minnesota, were held August 28, 1992 in Lynch funeral Home, Adrian, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock, Lyon county, Iowa.

She died Monday, August 24, 1992in Arnold Memorial Hospital, Adrian.

Lucy Anderson was born May 28, 1898, in Belgrade, Nebraska, and moved to Little Rock with her parents in 1901. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1917 and taught school for many years and was also employed at the bank there.

On November 27, 1919, she married John Kruger in Little Rock. They farmed near there until 1932 when they moved to the Adrian area and farmed until 1944.

They then moved into town and purchased the Eat Shop and later opened a restaurant. They sold the restaurant and she was then employed with Galles Hatchery and Adrian Co-op Creamery as a bookkeeper until she retired.

Her husband died February 15, 1954. On July 26, 1963 she married Eldo Thedens in Tacoma, Washington. He died June 1, 1978, and she continued to live in Adrian.

Survivors include one son, Robert Kruger of Walla Walla, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Sue) Heyer of Tacoma; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
