Funeral services for Elizabeth Kruger, 94, of George, Lyon county, Iowa, were held August 29, 1992, at First Congregational Church, Doon, Lyon county, Iowa with interment in Hillside Cemetery.

She died Wednesday, August 26, 1992 at George Community Good Samaritan Center.

Elizabeth Klinkenborg was born December 8, 1897, at George. She attended country school.

On January 21, 1920, she married Peter M. Kruger. They farmed near Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa. Then moved to Doon where they were residents for 50 years. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Piece “Lindy” of George, Hudson D. and Madison, both of Riverside, California; three daughters, Mrs. Elayne Siebrands and Mrs. Felicitis Kruse, both of Doon, and Mrs. William (Joceil) Gerloff of Little Rock, Lyon county, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Russel of Rushmore, Minnesota and two sisters, Mrs. Verna Molberg of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Lois Vodraska of Lakota, Iowa.
