RUUD, HILDA M. 1903 - 1989
Larchwood, Iowa - Hilda M. Ruud, 85, rural Larchwood, died Friday in the Pioneer Medical Center, Rock Rapids, Iowa. (July 7, 1989)

Hilda M. Ruud was born August 16, 1903, in rural Larchwood and attended grade school there. She attended high school in Brandon and worked as a housekeeper for 25 years. She then returned home to care for her parents on the family farm. In October 1988, she became a resident of Rock Rapids Health Center.

Survivors include two brothers: Melvin, Larchwood, Iowa; and Fred, Sioux Falls.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Grandview Covenant Church, rural Larchwood, with burial in Grandview Covenant Cemetery, rural Larchwood.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today in Anderson Funeral home, Canton.
