RUUD, ANNA SOPHIA (Petersen) 1884-1957
Canton, South Dakota - Ruud, Anna Sophia Petersen, 72. Died Wednesday at a Canton hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Anderson Funeral home, the Rev. Everett Hansen officiating. Born Oct. 5, 1884, in Lyon County, Iowa. Lived at (rural Granite) Larchwood, Iowa, at one time. Married Martin Ruud, November 3, 1902. Survivors include one daughter, Hilda, at home; five sons, Nels, Canton; Albert, Garretson; Carl, Fred and Melvin, all at home.
