Funeral services for Frank Van De Kieft, 81, of Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa were held June 10, 1992 at First Reformed Church, Inwood with interment in Richland Cemetery.
He died June 7, 1992.

Mr. Van De Kieft was born November 19, 1910 at Utrecht, The Netherlands. He came to the Rock Valley, Sioux County, Iowa area in 1919.

On August 31, 1932 he married Gerdina Meerbeek at Rock Valley. They lived in California until 1939 when the moved back to Rock Valley. They started farming at Crooks, South Dakota, before moving near Larchwood, Lyon county, Iowa in 1943 and near Inwood in 1945 until retiring in 1972 when to moved to Inwood.

He moved to Colonial Manor in Hudson, South Dakota October 19, 1989.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Frank Jr. “Mike” of Canton, South Dakota; three daughters, Mrs. Hank (Jozena) Van De Stroet of bishop, California, Mrs. Case (Alice) Van De Stroet of Fairview, South Dakota, and Mrs. Bob (Delores) Sullivan of Glendale, Arizona; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and John, both of Rock Rapids, and one sister, Mrs. Josina Hilt of Canton.
