Funeral services for Mrs. Jack (Cynthia L.) Peterson, age 40, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, were held on August 24, 1981 at Christian Church (Disciples) in Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa. Burial was in Riverview cemetery in Rock Rapids.

She died on August 20, 1981 at the University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City.

Cynthia L. Schuurman was born on September 19, 1941, to Clarence and Gertrude Schuurman. She graduated from high school in Rock Rapids in 1959.

In 1977 she married Jack Peterson at Sioux Falls, S.D.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; three children: Crystal, Paul and Lanse Van Vooren, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; her mother, Gertrude Schuurman, Rock Rapids, and a sister, Mrs. John (Vira) Ranney, Burlington.
