Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Janssen, 87, Ellsworth, Minn., were held on Monday, June 22, 1981 at the First Presbyterian church there. Burial was in Evergreen Lawn cemetery.

She died on Thursday, June 18, 1981 at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth.

Fannie Lupkes was born August 10, 1893 in Ackley, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Reilt[?] Lupkes.

She was married on Feb. 10, 1917 to George Janssen. They lived in George for 25 years before moving to Rushmore. In 1957 they moved to Ellsworth. He died in 1970 and in 1975 she became a resident of the nursing home.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Bartels, Adrian, Minn.; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Anna Stomberg of Mennehga, Minnesota.
