Funeral services for Lillian Roths, 82, of Rock Rapids are pending at Jongewaard-Roste Funeral Home here. She died Sunday, April 12, at Merrill Pioneer Community hospital.

Funeral services for Lillian M. Roths, 82, of Rock Rapids will be held on Thursday, April 16, 1981, in the Immanuel Lutheran church here. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery under the direction of Jongewaard-Roste Funeral Home of Rock Rapids.

She died on Sunday, April 12, 1981 at Merrill Pioneer Community hospital in Rock Rapids.

Miss Roths was born on May 17, 1898, in Lyon county, to Julius and Elizebeth (Schmidt) Roths. She worked for Singer Sewing Machine company in Chicago, Illinois, and in Kansas City, Missouri, before coming to Rock Rapids and working at Modern Home store here for many years.

Miss Roths was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran chruch, a colunteer for the American Cancer Society and active in other community organizations.

Survivors include one brother, Julius, and one sister, Mrs. Leona Blair, both of Rock Rapids.
