Funeral services for Olive Magnuson, 86, of Inwood were held February 22, 1992 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of rural Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa with interment in the church cemetery.

She died February 20, 1992 in her home.

Olive Hilda Olson was born March 10, 1905 near Inwood. She worked in McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

On June 30, 1934 she married Bertil Magnuson in Omaha, Nebraska. They farmed near Hudson, South Dakota for a few years before farming northwest of Inwood. Her husband died June 21, 1974.

Survivors include on son, Bertil Jr., of Inwood, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brother, Stanley of Inwood and Milo of Larchwood, Lyon county, Iowa and four sisters, Mrs. Bill (Myrtle) Kuecker of Inwood, Oneva Peterson of Canton, South Dakota, Helen Sorenson of Beresford, South Dakota and Mrs. Elmer (Palma) Sundem of Hills, Minnesota.
