Funeral services for Donald Medema, 70, of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha county, South Dakota were held February 19, 1992 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with interment in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.

He died February 16, 1992 in Royal C. Johnson Veterans memorial Hospital in Sioux Fall.

Mr. Medema was born April 21, 1921 in Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa. He moved with his family at an early age to the Sioux Falls area and attended country school there. He served in the army during World War II.

In 1962 he married Lois Jacqua in Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa.

He was a lather in construction for many years and also did maintenance work for several apartment complexes and worked at the W. H. Lyons Fairgrounds.

His wife died in 1974 and in 1975 he married Joyce Carlson. Survivors include two brothers and four sisters.
