Funeral Services for Selma Bergeson, 90, of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha county, South Dakota were held February 10, 1992 in Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with interment in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa.

She died February 7, 1992 in the Good Samaritan Luther Manor.

Selma Anita Bergeson was born August 10, 1901 in Lyon county, Iowa. As a young girl, the family moved to a farm near Platte, Charles Mix county, South Dakota. She was confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church near Inwood in September, 1915.

She lived most of her life in the Sioux Falls area except for a few years when she lived with a sister in Houston, Texas. She was employed at All Saints School and later with John Morrell and Company for 22 years, retiring in 1965.

She fell in her home a year ago and had lived at the Good Samaritan Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls.
