Funeral services for Kenneth K. Klinkenborg, 68, of Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa were held on February 10, 1992 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids with interment in Riverview Cemetery.

He died February 8, 1992 in Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, Minnehaha county, South Dakota.

Mr. Klinkenborg was born April 7, 1923 in Rock Rapids where he grew up. He graduated from George, Lyon county Iowa, High School in 1939 and then attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls.

On May 26, 1945 he married Frieda Gruis in Sioux Falls. They lived in Rock Rapids their entire married life. He was employed as a salesman for Ford and Occo Feeds. He was also employed by McCormack. He purchased an International Harvester implement dealership and in 1962 purchased a NAPA auto parts store. Ill health caused him to sell the business in 1989. He was also a member of Pheasants Forever.

Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Everon of Rock Rapids, Elmore Jack of George, Lyon county, Iowa and Ronald of Georgetown, California, and one sister, Mrs. Louis (Janelle) Loger of Luverne, Minnesota.
