Funeral services for Lillian Wietzema, 97, were held January 31, 1992 at First Presbyterian Church, Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa with interment in the Zoar Presbyterian Church Cemetery, six miles north of George, Lyon county, Iowa.

She died January 28, 1992 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.

Lillian M. Slight was born June 1, 1894 at Little Rock, Lyon county, Iowa. She was raised near Little Rock and attended country school.

In August of 1912 she married Tom Wietzema at Little Rock. They then lived at Little Rock where they farmed until 1936 at which time they moved to Sibley. Her husband died in 1963.

She moved to the Sibley Care Center in 1988.

Survivors include two sons, one daughter, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one sister.
