Funeral services for Wayne H. Scheerhoorn, 45 of Sioux Falls, South Dakota were held on January 30, 1992 at East Side Lutheran Church of Sioux Falls with entombment in the Hills of Rest Memorial Park mausoleum.

He died on January 27, 1992 at his home following a long illness.

Mr. Scheerhoorn was born November 25, 1946 at Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa. He grew up in the Cloverdale, Osceola county and Little Rock, Lyon county, Iowa areas, graduating from the Little Rock High School in 1965. He then attended Augustana college in Sioux Falls for three years.

On October 16, 1973 he married JoAnn Verschelde in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha county, South Dakota where they continued to make their home. He was employed with Anderson Hall Motors, International Harvester, Wheelco Brake and American Rim and Brake.

Survivors include his wife and two sons.
