Funeral services for Louis Holtz, age 73, of Inwood, Lyon county, Iowa, will be held tomorrow (Tuesday), May 12, 1981, in the Bethlehem Lutheran church there. Burial will be in Richland cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home of Inwood.

Louis died on Saturday, May 9, 1981 in the Canton-Inwood hospital following a brief illness.

Holtz was born on December 2, 1907 in rural Inwood. On October 19, 1928 he married Stella Bahmson at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Holtz was in the trucking business and later worked for the Farmers Co-op at Inwood until his retirement.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Deloris) Bonthuis, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Mrs. Leonard (Kathleen) Rozeboom, Inwood; three brothers: Rudolph, Long Beach, Calif., Arthur, LeMars, and Julius, Okanogan, Washington; four sisters, Mrs. Henry (Martha) Jensen, Hawarden, Mrs. Albert (Luella) Serek, Inwood, Mrs. Paul (Linda) Bruder, Warsaw, Illinois, and Mrs. Marvin (Florence) Jobes, Ocheyedan, and other descendants.
