Funeral services were held this morning for Charles Skovgaard, age 67, of rural Inwood at Bethlehem Lutheran church, Inwood, with Rev. Arno Frerichs officiating. Interment was at Flowerfield Cemetery, Hills, Minnesota, under the direction of Porter Funeral Home, who made the arrangements.

He died on Thursday, April 30, 1981, at Canton-Inwood hospital after a month's illness.

Born at Hills, Minnesota, Skovgaard grew up there. He served in World War II and had farmed in the Inwood area prior to his sickness.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Fallon of Milpitas, Calif., Mrs. Kenneth (Shirley) Saeger of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Hayes of Wellford, South Carolina.
