Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia Heinsma, age 86, of Sioux Center, Sioux county, Iowa, were held on Friday in the First Christian reformed church there. Burial was in Riverview cemetery at Rock Rapids under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Cornelia Bakker was born on February 10, 1895 in The Netherlands. In 1914 she married Luitzen Piersma in The Netherlands. He died in 1925.

She came to the United States and on August 22, 1934 she married Dave Heinsma at Rock Rapids. He died in 1966.

Survivors include two sons, August Piersma, Inwood, and Ronald Heinsma, Hayward, California; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Sue) Chandler, Lakewood, Calif., and Mrs. Marvin (Donna) Boone, Sioux Center; one stepson, August Heinsma, Rock Rapids, and one stepdaughter, Dorothy McCullah, Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Dick Bakker, Inwood; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; 16 step-grandchildren, and 35 step-great-grandchildren.
