Funeral services for Elizabeth Barker, 72, of Canton, Illinois were held January 20, 1992 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home, Canton, with interment in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.

She died January 17, 1992 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

Elizabeth Knobloch was born April 13, 1919 in Lester, Lyon county, Iowa. On June 2, 1944 she married Edris Barker in Peoria, Illinois.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Dietrich “Dick” of Marquette Heights, Illinois; seven brothers, Dietrich of De Smet, South Dakota, Wilber and Earl, both of Lester, Adolph of Algona, Iowa, Albert of Hills, Minnesota and Ben of Wapello, Iowa; six sisters, Emma Knobloch, Pauline Knobloch, Violet Knobloch and Wilma Hoogeveen, all of Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa, Lydia Moser of Lester and Julia Plattner of Sabetha, Kansas as well as five grandchildren.
