Olive Nelson, 99, of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002.
Services were Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with interment in Richland Cemetery, Inwood.
Olive Bahnson was born June 7, 1903, in Inwood, the daughter of Meinheit and Alvina (Moeller) Bahnson. She attended country school near Inwood.
On March 30, 1942, she married Simon Nelson in Sioux City. They farmed near Garretson, S.D., Inwood and Lyons, S.D.
Her husband died in 1965. She moved to Morningside Care Center in Alcester, S.D., in October 1995.
Survivors include one son, Gary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Francis and Marvin, and four sisters, Pearl Bergeson, Valeria Bahnson, Livia Hotvet and Arvilla Bahnson.
