Larry Sullivan, 60, died Oct. 29, 2002, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services were Nov. 2 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, rural Inwood, with interment in the church cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan was born Jan. 16, 1942, in Beaver Falls, Pa. After graduating from high school, he served in the marine corps 13-1/2 years.
On June 13, 1977, he married Karoline Severson of Inwood in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in Torrance, Calif., Delta, Colo., and Sioux Falls where he worked as a guard in the South Dakota State Penitentiary. In 1985, he was transferred to the Mike Durfee Prison in Springfield, S.D. He retired in 2000 due to ill health.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
