GROTEWOLD, HARVEY JAMES 1909 - 1976
Was born to Frank and Grace McEnaney Grotewold at Larchwood on November 15, 1909. He married Vera Heyer at Alvord on June 14, 1930. He died at McKennan hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Friday, March 12, 1976.

Services at the United Church of Christ in Larchwood at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 1976. The Rev. James Stubbe officiating. Organist Mrs. Merlyn Lippert and soloist Mrs. Paul Koch. Selections: "Amazing Grace" and "Take My Hand Precious Lord."

Survivors include two sons: Lyle of Larchwood and Gerald of Watertown, South Dakota; three daughters, Beverly, Mrs. Delbert Rippentrop of Valley Springs, South Dakota, June, Mrs. Robert Severson of West Liberty and Connie, Mrs. Jim Walker of West Branch; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Roy, Harry and Andy, all of Larchwood; and two sisters; Leona, Mrs. Vernon Lewis of Rock Rapids and Gladys, Mrs. Dale Fett of Ames. He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother.
