GROTEWOLD, FRED 1890 -1968
Larchwood, Iowa - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the United Church of Christ for Fred Grotewold, 78, who died Wednesday in the Rock Rapids hospital.

Mr. Grotewold was born May 23, 1890, at Larchwood. He married Clara Wallace June 21, 1911. He was retired.

Surviving him are his widow; three sons, Floyd, Larchwood; Earl, Indianola, and Melvin, Lester; a daughter, Mrs. G.E. Larsen, Omaha; two foster daughters, Jeannie and Kay Thompson, a foster son, R.L. Hogancamp; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer, Ernest and Leslie, and a sister Mrs. Nellie Viereck.
