Carl J. Grevillius Claimed by Death

Funeral services for Carl J. Grevillius, 72, Brandon, South Dakota who died Saturday evening after an illness of a year and a half, will be conducted by Rev. John Mason at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the residence and at 2 p.m. at the Beaver Valley Lutheran church. Interment is to be made in the churchyard cemetery.

Mr. Grevillius was born April 29, 1873, in Sweden and married Victoria Swiden at Brandon, South Dakota on February 22, 1904. He farmed near Valley Springs, Granite, Iowa and Brandon before retiring to Brandon in 1938. He was a member of the Beaver Valley Lutheran Church.

He is survived by the widow, five sons, Roy and Kurt, Brandon; George and Carl, Sioux Falls, and Gustav in the army, and six grandchildren.
