BONANDER, EDGAR WILLIAM 1908 - 1987
Edgar William Bonander was born on June 30, 1908 at Larchwood, Iowa, the son of Axel and Olga (Hildring) Bonander. He grew up in Sioux Township and attended country schools there. Edgar was a lifetime member of the Grandview Covenant Church having been baptized and confirmed there. During his life he farmed and raised livestock and for the past fifteen years he served on the board of directors of the Security Savings Bank in Larchwood. Last Friday evening August 14, 1987, he died at the Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls at the age of seventy-nine years.

Surviving are four brothers, Oscar, Harold, Russell and Axel Jr., all of Larchwood, and two sisters, Evelyn, Mrs. Edward J. Poirier of Orofino, Idaho and Mrs. Mildred Hammitt of Apache Junction, Arizona. Also surviving are three nieces; Connie, Jessie, Celia, and four nephews; Rodney, Larry, Ronnie, Bruce. Preceding him in death were his parents. Blessed be his memory.

Following the graveside services there will be a lunch served in the church basement for all relatives and friends.
