Mrs. Carl A. Anderson dies at Harrisburg.

56 year old woman who came here from Sweden.
Succumbs to Illness, August 1939.

Mrs. Carl A. Anderson, 56 who came to South Dakota from Sweden in 1910 died early Tuesday night at her farm home four miles east of Harrisburg, South Dakota. She had been in failing health since January.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Sweden March 1, 1883, and married there to Mr. Anderson on May 30, 1904. In 1910, the family came to the United States and settled near Rowena where they lived for 26 years after which they moved to the present home near Harrisburg where they have lived the past three and one half years.

Mrs. Anderson attended the Grandview Mission church at Granite, Iowa, and was a member of the Ladies Aid society of that church.

Survivors include three daughters Lydia, Viola and Leona Anderson, all living at home, and five sons, Berger of Rowena, Phillip , Irving and Merrill at home and Lawrence, Larchwood, Iowa. One daughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Saturday at the home and at 2 o'clock in the Grandview Mission church with Rev. H.R. Jacobson of Brandon, South Dakota officiating. Pallbearers will include Albert Swanson, Andrew Swanson, Gust Swanson, Carl Carlson, Herbert Bjork and Carl Grevillius and burial will be in Mount Pleasant cemetery at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
