Margaret Kruse, 86, of Sibley died Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Spirit Lake.
Services were at United Church of Christ Congregational, Sibley, with interment in Holman Township Cemetery.
Margaret Siebring was born April 27, 1916, in Little Rock, the daughter of Henry and Helen (Heidebrink) Siebring. She grew up and attended school in Little Rock, later attending teaching college in Cedar Falls. She taught in rural country schools.
On Dec. 25, 1939, she married Marvin Kruse in Little Rock. They farmed in Little Rock and owned a gas station. In 1972 they moved to Sibley where she worked at Ver Doorn Nursing Home and Chase Bag Co., until she was 70.
Her husband died July 14, 1982.
Survivors include one son, Roger of Melvin; four daughters, Mrs. Paul (Karen) Kintop of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Donald (Donna) Markus and Mrs. Thomas (Mavis) Hoffman, both of Ocheyedan, and Mrs. Robert (Norma) Vos of Sibley; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
