Services Conducted Monday for Peter W. Siebrands
Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 2, 1999 from the Hope Reformed Church of rural George for Peter W. Siebrands, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona; Pastor Robert Vander Schaaf officiating.

Casket bearers were: Rodney Krull, Robert Krull, Dick Siebrands, Kenneth Krull, Alfred Goldhorn, and Kerwin Klinkenborg. Interment was in the Hope Reformed Church Cemetery, George, Iowa. Bolin Funeral Service of George was in charge of arrangements.

Peter W. Siebrands was born on December 4, 1913 at rural George, Iowa; the son of William and Minnie (Goldhorn) Siebrands. He attended country school.

He married Gertrude Bos on December 29, 1941. She died on Nov. 29, 1945. Peter married Georgia Heiderbrink on May 29, 1947. They farmed near Pipestone, Minn. for several years before moving to California where he worked as a carpenter. He worked for W.E.D. where they made projects for Walt Disney. He retired in 1981 when they moved to Utah and later to Arizona.

Peter made profession of faith at the Hope Reformed Church of George, and was a member of Paradise Southern Baptist church in Phoenix.

Peter died on Wednesday, July 28, 1999 at the Phoenix Regional Medical Center, at the age of 85 years. He leaves behind his wife, Georgia of Phoenix; two sons, Dwayne Siebrands of Sheldon, Iowa, and Alan and Beth Siebrands of Good Thunder, Minnesota; and one daughter, Pamela Mengel of Phoenix; two step-grandchildren, Megahn and Michael Johns of Good Thunder, Minn.; and one sister, Mae and John Folkema of Sand Lake, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and an infant son.

Peter W. Siebrands was born December 4, 1913 at rural George, Iowa. He was the son of William and Minnie (Goldhorn) Siebrands. He attended country school.

He married Gertrude Bos on December 29, 1941. She passed away on November 29, 1945. Peter married Georgia Heidebrink on May 29, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and an infant son.

Funeral services for Peter W. Siebrands were held Monday, August 2, 1999 at Hope Reformed Church, rural George, Iowa with interment in the church cemetery the same day.
