Hello Mary Beth

Thanks so much for your response! It seems that the Fred and Stella in the Seward Nebraska census is my Fred Dunfee as well. What a major break through!! I know his son Orin "Ona" Dunfee (my great grandfather) is known to have been born in Nebraska as well. Fred and Orin seem to move around a lot. Without Darlene's response in this forum, I would not have known that he and Laura were divorced. I previously knew that Laura was married to someone else by 1910 when she signed a marriage lic for son Orin as a witness .... "Laura Bailey". I had just assumed that Fred has passed and she was remarried. The dates fit perfectly with the Fred in Seward so I do believe this is him. MANY thanks for your help. After 5 years of searching I now know what direction to look in. Very interesting find.

T. Thompson
