Dale Nathan Peterson, 77, died June 9, 2004 at Knoxville V.A. Services were held at Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton, with burial in the Confidence Cemetery.

Dale is survived by his wife, Vera (Buttz) Peterson; son, Nathan Peterson of Pella; daughter,
Charlotte Barnes of Independence, MO; and granddaughter, Annelise.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Royal Peterson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family or to the Christian Opportunity Center of Pella.
