Edna (Dixon) Foster, 78, a resident of Chariton for many years, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon in the Chariton Manor.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorris Fauzio of Des Moines, Evelyn Wells and Darlene Smith of Chariton, two sons, Roland of Rockford, IL, and Lyle of Chariton, eight grandchildren and four great-granchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home by the Rev. L.W. Mendenhall.

Burial in Chariton Cemetery.
