Death of Neil Anderson
Mr. Neil Anderson, one of Lucas County’s pioneer and most highly respected residents, passed away at his home in Benton TWP. On Tuesday afternoon, February 9, having attained the ripe old age of 92 years. He celebrated his birthday last Friday. He is survived by his wife and by three sons Ed S Anderson of Chariton, and John and Charles of Benton TWP. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. George J Cornford of this city and Rev. Hougham were held this afternoon at two o’clock at Otterbein church, followed by interment in the Chariton cemetery. An obituary will appear in this paper next week.
