MAY ROSE DAWSON, daughter of MR. and MRS. W.N. DAWSON, was born in Chariton,
April 29, 1878, and died at her home in St. Joseph, Mo., March 4th, 1908.
She was married to HARRY C. WEAVER June 12, 1895, and has lived in St.
Joseph for over fifteen years. She was a great sufferer from tuberculosis,
and other ailments, for several years, and death came only as a relief.

She was converted at the age of twelve years, and united with the First
Baptist Church in Chariton, later transferring her membership to the
Methodist Church in St. Joseph, for convenience. She leaves a husband,
three children, FRANK, RALPH and HARRY, beside her parents, two sisters and
four brothers, to mourn her departure. Funeral services were held at the M
E. Church of Chariton, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Evans, and the
remains interred in Chariton Cemetery.
