Thursday, July 11, 1907MRS. HANNAH SPRAY died at the home of her daughter, MRS. ROBERT MCNULTY at
Hiteman, on Friday, June 29th. MRS. SPRAY was born at Branket, Nottingham,
England, August 7, 1839, and was married to ROBERT SPRAY there August 3,
1879. They emigrated to America, shortly after and settled in Lucas. The
husband was struck and killed by a train west of town, March 20, 1902. MRS.
SPRAY remained in Lucas, until a few months since when she went to Hiteman,
to make her home with her daughter. Some two weeks since, she received a
paralytic stroke from which she never recovered. She was a very industrious
lady and a good kind neighbor. The remains were brought to Lucas, last
Sunday, and Elder Parley Batton conducted appropriate funeral services at
the Latter Day Saints' Church where a large crowd gathered to pay the last
tribute of respect to an old friend and neighbor. The remains were buried
at Fry Hill.-- LUCAS LEDGER.
