Thursday, October 10, 1907ELIZABETH REESE was born in Peoria, Ill., Nov. 4, 1860, and died at her home
in Cleveland, Oct. 4, 1907, aged 47 years, 11 months. She came with her
parents to Newton, Iowa, in 1875, and from there to Cleveland, the following
year, 1876. She was united in marriage to T.F. MORGAN, May 18th, 1878. To
this union were born two sons and six daughters, all of whom were present
but the oldest son, who was unable to get there.She united with the Christian Church about fourteen years ago, afterwards
transferring her membership to the Presbyterian Church at Cleveland, and has
been a faithful follower of her Master. She had been afflicted with cancer
for over two years and her sufferings were intense, yet borne with great
fortitude. She was a woman of noble character, and was beloved by all who
knew her. Besides her husband and eight children, she leaves three brothers
and four sisters to mourn their loss.Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church of Chariton, by
Rev. M.S. Clark and the remains interred in the Chariton Cemetery.
