WILSON ALLISON was born in Brownsville, Indiana, January 18, 1828. He moved
to Iowa with his mother in 1851 and was united in marriage to ELZA JACOBS in
1860. To this union ten children were born -- eight surviving: JAMES, of
Chariton; GEORGE and ED, of Kansas City; WILLIAM, of Carthage, Mo.; FRANK,
whose whereabouts are unknown; and MRS. ALDERSON, MRS. MEANS and MRS. MARTHA
ROSE, of Kansas City. He died on May 28, 1907.

He united with the Christian Church in 1890 and was a faithful follower of
the faith until the close of life. Funeral services were conducted at the
home on Saturday, May 31, by Rev. D.L. Dunkelberger, and many friends paid
by their presence the tribute of respect due one whose life was full of kind
deeds and ennobling impulses.
