Thursday, May 9, 1907

A telegram was received in Chariton, Monday morning, from Grand Junction,
Colorado, announcing the death of MRS. J.W. PARMENTER. It gave no further
particulars. MRS. PARMENTER was formerly MISS JENNIE LANE and prior to her
marriage was a well known resident of Chariton and a teacher in the Lucas
County public schools. She and her husband went to Colorado, a number of
years since.

Later: The primary cause of her death was heart and kidney trouble.
