Dorothy Mason, 88, passed away September 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Services for Dorothy will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday September 19, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Chariton. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, Interment will be in the Chariton Cemetery.

Dorothy was the widow of Ronald Mason and mother of Alice Marie Lowe and Jerry Mason and the late Kenneth Eugene and Paul Raymond Mason.
