It is with great sorrow that the family of Harold (Harry) Stanley Larson announces his unexpected passing at age 53 on July 27, 2013. He was born on September 8, 1959 in Corydon, IA to Gertrude (Holst) and Stanley Larson of rural Wayne County. He graduated from Russell High School in 1977. Harry worked at Marsden Building Maintenance in Des Moines.

He is survived by his son, Josiah, and two grandchildren of Carlisle; sisters, Sarah (Clifford) Kitzman, Beaman; Linda (Dennis) Senecaut, Altoona; and Lorraine (Richard) Forkner, Des Moines; brothers Russell (Pok) of Korea and Verne of Monument, CO; nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Memorial services are planned for 2 p.m. on August 24, 2013 at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton with visitation two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
