Graveside services for Fay Allen, 93, Chariton, who died on March 5, 1993, at the Chariton Manor in Chariton, were March 8, 1993, at the Chariton Cemetery in Chariton.

The Rev. Paul Olson of the First Baptist Church officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Frank Fleeman, Clayton Fleeman, Neal Carruthers, Garth Carruthers, Howard King, Ray Wilson and John Pierce.

Fay was born on Feb. 13, 1900, in Chariton, the daughter of Lee and Lilie Farland Tacker. Fay was a longtime resident of the Chariton area. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Chariton Manor for several years.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Jones of Columbia, Iowa.

The Mosher Funeral Home in Chariton was in charge of the arrangements.
