RAY DARRAH SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY

Ray E. Darrah, 82, lifelong resident of Lucas county died at Lucas County Memorial Hospital Friday.

He had been in failing health for several years.

For many years he was a house mover in southern Iowa. He was a veteran of WWI and a fifty year member of the American Legion.

He is survived by two sisters, Bertha Downs of Chariton and Bernice Weiss of Racine, Wisc.; two brothers, Floyd of Williamson and Mart of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Edward Quick conducting. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
