Five brothers and sisters whose combined ages total 394 years were together at Lucas Sunday. They were reunited for the day by the birthday of one of the group Henry Lane of Lucas. He was 79.

Mr. Lane has two sisters older than himself, Mrs. Mary Sydebotham, 84, of Courtland, Nebr., and Mrs. Retta Hutchins, 81, of Lucas. Another sister and his brother are younger Mrs. Belle McHale, 74, of Omaha, Nebr., and M.M. Lane, 76, of Des Moines.
More than 50 other relatives and friends of Henry Lane participated in the birthday celebration.

Lane and Nettie Lane, Chariton; Claude Sydebotham, Thornburg, Ia.; Fred Sydebotham, Lucas, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lane and three daughters, Lucas.

Henry Lane was born at Richmond in Washington County. M. M. Lane was born in Chariton, while Mrs. McHale also was born in Lucas County. Mrs. Hutchins was born in Wayne County while Mrs. Sydebotham is the only member of the group not a native Iowan. She was born in Columbus, Ohio.
