Ottumwa -- Norris Clark Price, 94, formerly of Rt. 1 Centerville, died at 9:30 p.m., August 22, 2004,at the Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center in Ottumwa.
He was born October 19, 1909 to Charles A. and Mary Cathern Newberry Price in Oconee, Illinois. He married Martha Helen Pfrimmer June 17, 1947. She preceded him in death 1985.
He was a graduate of Herrick High School, Herrick, Illinois. He moved to Centerville area in 1949 and farmed until 1993. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Centerville serving as an usher and Sunday school teacher. He was a lifetime member and Past President of Farm Bureau, a 4-H leader, and was a 60 year member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #44 A.F. & A.M. in Centerville.
Survivors include a daugher, Fran Remmark of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Remmark and Lisa Remmark; five great-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Doris Cherry.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned. Internment will be in Norwood Cemetery near Chariton.
