Chariton newspaper, January 1960, obituary:
Gold B. Patterson, who will be remembered by many local residents, died in Omaha early this month at the age of 75. Funeral services were held there February 8. Mr. Patterson, who was born at Milo, attended Simpson College and made his home for several years with Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Butler.
He had been in the wholesale business in Omaha before his retirement ten years ago. His wife, who survives, is the former Ada Pfrimmer, a Warren County teacher before her marriage. Their only daughter, also, lives in Omaha.
Mr. an Mrs. Ray Pehrson, Mrs. Esther Henry, and Loren Hurst of Milo, all cousins, attended funeral services.
