Thursday, September 23, 1908ORIEN SMYTH and MISS LEDRA HULL, were united in marriage last Sunday in Des
Moines. MR. SMYTH was a former Chariton boy, is a son of MR. and MRS. W.H.
SMYTH of this city, and is an exemplary young man. The bride's home is in
Indianapolis, Indiana, and is an entire stranger to his people here, but is
spoken of as a charming and cultured young lady.They are now on a wedding trip in the east, and will later visit his parents
in this city, before going to housekeeping in Des Moines where MR. SMYTH is
employed with the C.B. & Q. R.R. as brakeman.The Leader joins their many friends in wishing them a prosperous and happy

Thursday, October 1, 1908A wedding which comes as a surprise to his relatives and friends is that of
MR. ORIN B. SMYTH of Des Moines, to MISS LEDRA HULL of Indianapolis, Ind.,
which took place Sunday in Des Moines.The groom is a son of MR. and MRS. WM. SMYTH, of this city. For some time
he has been employed on the railroad as brakeman, running from Des Moines to
Ottumwa. ORIN has lived in Chariton all his life, and his many friends wish
he and his bride a long and happy wedded life.After a visit of two weeks in Monmouth, Illinois, with his aunt, MRS. W.H.
JEFFREY, in Chicago with friends, and in Indianapolis, Indiana with the
bride's parents, MR. and MRS. SMYTH will visit his parents in Chariton.
