We learn from reliable sources that a man was found dead in his room in a
hotel in Davenport, Iowa, who was registered in the name of P. PRATHE (sic)
and from the description given the deceased is thought to be P.P. PRATHER,
formerly of Cedar Township, this county and a brother of W.J. PRATHER of
Cedar Township, and MRS. M.E. BOWMAN of Chariton. W.J. PRATHER left for
Davenport today, to identify the deceased if possible.
