The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, June 13, 1907

MR. HENRY M. CLAYTON and MISS SARAH FUNK were united in marriage at the home
of the bride's parents, Wednesday evening, at 8 o'clock, Rev. Yaggy, of the
United Brethren Church officiating, in the presence of about thirty-five
invited guests. The bride wore a white Persian lawn dress.

After congratulations, a two-course luncheon was served. The bride is a
daughter of MR. and MRS. DAVID FUNK, and has spent the greater part of her
life in Chariton, where she has made a host of friends. The groom is a son
of MR. and MRS. HENRY CLAYTON. He is an honest and industrious young man,
and has a position as clerk in the First National Bank. They will go to
housekeeping at once in west Chariton where the groom has a cozy cottage
already furnished. The Leader joins their many friends in congratulations
for a long and happy life.
