Searching for any info on Samuel Bell. The Samuel Bell I am searching for was working as a farm laborer or the George "Vestle" Dimit farm in Poweshiek County (near Grinnell) in the 1914 - 1916 time period. He said that he had "come up from Missouri" to work. I don't know if that means he had simply passed through Missouri on before making his way to Iowa ..... or was he born and raised in Missouri and then came to Iowa ...... or had he lived / worked back and forth between Iowa and Missouri? I do not have a date of birth, nor his parents name. After he left the Dimit farm, he returned to visit them occasionally in later years. Any info is greatly appreciated.
