ALEXANDER, GROOMS

I am trying to find information on my grandparents and great grandparents. I know that Charles S. Alexander was my great grandpa. He had a son Bernard. Bernard married Rosemary Grooms maybe in the late 1930s? They gave birth to my father Larry Lloyd Alexander 11-1-40. He eventually was given up for adoption to his paternal grandfather Charles.

Rosemary remarried in Iowa and I believe lives in Wapello? Not sure how to spell her last name but it is Showeb? Schwab? Her current husband is named Robert.

Bernard remarried in Virginia? Maryland? Had two additional sons: Charlie and B.G. with his wife Pebbles?

Bernard was killed in WWII at the Battle of the Bulge and is burried in Germany.

We know pratically nothing about the Alexander family. Any clues/information would be wonderful.
